What makes your Sohan Halwa “authentic Multani”?

At Multan Sweets we craft our Sohan Halwa in the tradition of the city of Multan, using time-honored techniques and premium ingredients. We source pure desi ghee, use freshly milled wheat flour and generously include dry fruits like almonds, pistachios, cashews and walnuts. The slow-cooking process gives it the signature rich texture and flavor that distinguishes real Multani-style halwa.

What ingredients do you use in your Sohan Halwa?

Our Recipe features wheat flour, refined flour, Milk, sugar, pure desi ghee, cardamom and a blend of hand-picked almonds, pistachios, cashews and walnuts.

We don’t use artificial flavoring or unnecessary preservatives — every batch is handcrafted to preserve the true taste and texture of this traditional sweet.

How should I store the halwa once it arrives?

Store the halwa in its sealed packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If ambient temperatures are high (e.g., in summer), you may refrigerate it to maintain texture and freshness. After opening, ensure the box is resealed or covered to avoid moisture absorption.

Why does some melted ghee or oil appear on the surface of the halwa?

Seeing a thin layer of melted ghee or oil is perfectly normal — it reflects the use of pure desi ghee and the natural behaviour of ingredients when exposed to warmer temperatures or transit. If this occurs, simply refrigerate briefly and allow it to come back to room temperature before serving.
